What is Co-washing?

Co-washing is a hair maintenance method that involves washing your bundles with conditioner prior to your first install. 

This method is very common among curly hair textures but can be done on all hair textures!

Some of the reasons behind co-washing hair extensions are:

• Helps to increase curl definition;
• Allows you to see natural hair texture of the extensions;
• Decreases shedding and tangling

But the main reason the hair beauty industry adopted this method is because hair extensions are generally stored in warehouses after being made. So doing this process helps to remove any dirt, smells, etc. from the hair prior to installation.
